At Zingies, we believe great products start with great materials. Every item we design, from our colorful Seabeez fins to our stainless steel tumblers, is crafted with care, using only high quality, kid friendly, and eco-conscious materials. Our goal? We carefully select materials like BPA free, food grade silicone and stainless steel not just for their performance, but for their impact on little hands, busy families, and the environment.
Why Silicone?
Silicone is one of our favorite materials and for good reason. At Zingies, we use premium, food grade silicone that’s soft, flexible, and incredibly durable, making it perfect for little hands and busy family life.

We go the extra mile to make sure our silicone meets the highest standards:
- We use 100% BPA free, FDA approved food grade silicone across all silicone items
- It’s non toxic, and free from phthalates and PVC
- Naturally heat resistant and bacteria resistant for safer daily use
- Soft, flexible, and incredibly durable, even after heavy use
- Fully certified under EU Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 and EN 14372
- Hypoallergenic and safe for skin contact, ideal for babies and toddlers
This includes all bowls, plates, cups, bibs, food boxes, utensils and all foodware items made from silicone.
The Power of Stainless Steel
At Zingies, we choose high quality 18/8 stainless steel (that’s 18% chromium, 8% nickel) for all of our tumblers, bottles, drinkware, and food jars, because it’s safe, tough, and made to keep up with real life.
Here’s why stainless steel is one of our most trusted materials:
- Food Safe and Rust Resistant, Our stainless steel is LFGB approved and built to last without corroding, even with regular use.
- No Harmful Coatings, We never use interior linings or chemical coatings that can wear off over time.
- Doesn’t Retain Flavors or Odors, So every sip or bite tastes exactly the way it should.
- Durable and Recyclable, Designed for repeated use and fully recyclable at the end of its long life.
- Built for Performance, It’s impact resistant, heat safe, and tough enough for both indoor and outdoor adventures.
We combine this dependable material with smart features that make a difference:
- Double wall insulation to keep drinks cold or hot for hours
- Non slip silicone bases (where applicable) to protect surfaces and reduce spills
- Leak resistant lids, wide mouths, and ergonomic designs for everyday convenience
- Removable fruit infusers (where applicable) for flavor on the go
We also use BPA free Tritan™ and polypropylene (PP) for selected parts such as lids, spouts, straws, and fruit infusers, chosen for their durability, safety, and ease of use. These materials are:
- Lightweight and impact resistant
- Safe for food contact, free from BPA, BPS, and other harmful substances
- Easy to clean and built to last through repeated use
This includes all Zingies tumblers, bottles and food jars made from stainless steel.
Smart Combinations That Work
Some Zingies products, like our stainless steel food containers, are made using a thoughtful mix of materials, each selected for its function, safety, and everyday practicality.
These containers feature:
- Single wall 18/8 stainless steel for a lightweight, durable, and food safe base
- 100% food grade silicone lids or sealing elements for a flexible, airtight fit that keeps food fresher, longer
Why we combine them:
- Stainless steel provides a clean, odor free surface that won’t stain or leach chemicals
- Silicone creates a secure, reusable seal without the need for plastic wraps or disposable packaging

Seabeez Silicone Fins
Seabeez are designed for movement, fun, and confidence in the water, and that starts with the right materials. We use soft, flexible, 100% silicone to create short training fins that are safe, durable, and easy to wear, especially for younger or beginner swimmers.
